About this site This site has been written by Mike Best. The site is basically just my space on the World Wide Web. I have decided to populate this space with some programs that I have made. This site also acts as a nice front-end for my web applications, this easily extensible design embedds Java applets quite nicely, as can be seen on the frontpage. In fact this site should be viewable in any recent browser, at any screen resolution and if there are any problems I would appreciate hearing about them. I have a load of other bits and pieces that I have made none of them very exciting (or they would deserve a link). I have included them in the links section, just so there is some way of knowing where they are!

About Me I have just finished a degree in Computer Science at Keele University Staffordshire England. I am at present seeking work in programming, using Java or C++ (which I am learning now). I have a real passion for computers and especially networks, and enjoy developing new web applications, I have created web servers and networked games. My most hated thing is crackers(sometimes called hackers), as it means that I have to read up on how to secure my network so that no-one can start getting at my data and generally getting on my nerves. I play bass guitar although over the past few years I have not kept up with my practice. I am not single and in a very very happy relationship. That's about my life in a nutshell.
